Rising Homelessness
Over 122,000 Australians are experiencing homelessness, with many living on the streets, in cars, or moving between temporary accommodation with no stability.
In cities like Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, rising living costs, housing shortages, and financial pressure continue to push more people into vulnerable situations. For many, this means going without the basics, food, hygiene, safety, and a place to sleep.
Lack of Support
For someone experiencing homelessness, support is about more than food. It is access to essentials most people take for granted, clean clothing, blankets, toiletries.
Each week, volunteers head out across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to provide fresh meals, clothing, blankets, hygiene essentials, support and pathways to further assistance where possible This is immediate, practical support that meets people where they are, in real time.

Help The Homeless exists to support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness through consistent, on-the-ground outreach. What began in Melbourne has grown into a network of volunteers operating across multiple cities, delivering weekly community support to those who need it most.
This work is built on presence, showing up every week, creating a sense of consistency, and building trust with people who often feel overlooked. Every donation contributes directly to outreach efforts that make a real, visible difference.
